Sébastien VilleneuveDr. Sébastien Villeneuve is a Research Scientist in Food Process Engineering at Agriculture and Agri-food Canada’s Food Research and Development Centre in St-Hyacinthe.  He graduated in Food Engineering from Laval University in 1997. Since then, he has completed a M.Sc. in Agri-Food Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Laval University. Dr. Villeneuve is pursuing two distinct lines of work: (1) determining the impact of processing conditions on engineering properties of foods and on the stability of bioactive substances; (2) development of tools for assessing risk and improving safety in the food distribution chain.
