Professor Shafiur Rahman He is the author/co-author of more than 300 technical articles, including more than 100 journal articles and 7 books. He is the author of the world-renowned and award-winning Food Properties Guide and the editor of the popular Food Preservation Guide published by CRC Press, Florida. The first editions have been recognized as a bestseller, and now the second edition is being published. He has been invited as one of the associate editors of the journal Hands of Food Science, Engineering and Technology and one of the editors of the journal Hands of the Food Modeling artistic and Bioprocesses, published by CRC Press, Florida. He rose to the International Journal of Food Properties and was the founding editor-in-chief for more than 15 years, and also served on the editorial boards of 10 international journals and book series.
In 1998, he was invited and continued to work as a food science consultant at the International Science Foundation in Sweden. He has been invited as keynote speaker / plenary speaker at 10 international conferences in the field of food science and technology. He was the initiator and founding President of the International Conference on Food Properties (iCFP). He has received the HortResearch Chairman's Award, the BRAP Award, the CAMS 2003 Outstanding Researcher Award and the 2008 Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award. In 2008, Professor Rahman became one of the top five scientists and engineers from 57 OIC member countries in the field of agricultural sciences.
