Xiao Jun Liao Xiao Jun Liao is a professor in College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University, he is currently engaged in teaching and research on food processing. He is member of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, and of IFSET (Innovative Food Science and Emerging Technology) and TCSAE (Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering) of editorial board. His research interests are emerging technologies for food processing, including membrane separation, high pressure processing, high pressure CO2. Prof. Liao has been responsible for over 10 national projects as a coordinator. From food quality and safety perspectives, he evaluates the quality effects of these technologies on fruit & vegetable products and their bactericidal effects, and possible mechanisms associated with these effects. Results of his research work have been published in about 200 peer review publications.
