Jozef Kokini, Purdue University, USA
Dr. Jozef L. Kokini he is currently in the science-winning food processor chair in the Department of food science at Purdue University. He was Bingham professor of food engineering and associate professor dean of research and director of the Illinois Experiment Station at the University of Illinois. Prior to that, he was chairman of the Department of Food Science and director of the Center for advanced food technology and a prominent professor of food marketing at Rutgers University. His research is focused on material science and the technological properties of nutrients, including carbohydrates and proteins. He has published more than 220 legal journal articles and book chapters. He has received many awards, among which is the IEAF’s Lifetime Achievement award.
