Peter Fryer Peter Fryer is a chemical engineer by training and has been Professor of Chemical Engineering at Birmingham since 1994. His research interests include hygienic engineering, heat transfer and structure formation in foods, and developing more energy efficient processes. He is the Director of the Centre for Formulation Engineering at Birmingham, that integrates research into structured products across different sectors, including food, HPC, pharma, agrichem and aerospace.
